Here I show you how to do a modified 8 count bodybuilder and some variety on crunches. Check it out and give me some feedback. As always I welcome comment, suggestions, and requests.
Tune in tomorrow when I talk about my motivations for joining the Navy, more specifically, the Deep Sea Diving Navy. I'll touch on my preparations for the physical demands of Dive School too.

You should give this a try sometime: http://board.crossfit.com/showthread.php?t=4877
ReplyDeleteIt's the best exercise that I HATE TO DO SO MUCH. They're similar to your modified bodybuilder, and they kind of make you want to kill yourself. I have a serious love/hate relationship with the manmaker.
Also, maybe you should give v-ups a shot. I prefer them to standard crunches or sit-ups of just about any sort. They're awesome on the abs.
Also, I'm noticing that your pictures seem to be lacking some of the minimal squish that you had when you started. I'm seeing a difference, and rock on!
(Also, what do you wear under those spandex pants? I can't find any underthings that don't bunch and leave crazy lines EVERYWHERE, even when I wear my underarmour underthings with underarmour overthings. WHAT IS YOUR SECRET?)
ALSO I REALLY OVERUSE THE WORD ALSO.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! I keep trying variations on old stuff just to see what it does. I can't do the v-ups cuz of my spine. That's pretty much why I'm stuck with crunch type exercises. It's easier on my back/neck. So, until I strengthen everything up and get some flexibility it's crunches! :-D
ReplyDeleteAnd I hate to break it to you but I don't wear anything under my spandex! I'm freeballing! ;-)
...hot.
